As I said on Facebook, my girlfriend and I have prints of our birthstones (gems) by Fred.
I didn't realize what a great wildlife artist he is too. Hope to meet him (and you!) one day.

Wonderful travelogue of Fred Wilda's exhibit, as a mineral dealer in the show, I had to do a some what quick run through of the display. Gail has made the photographic display which is equivalent of having been there with adequate time to view the wonderful work of Fred Wilda. Thank you, Gail, for spending the time and effort to take the photographs and the time to share with everyone on FMF's forums.

Kevin, the people who live closest to each other seem to be the ones to meet the last!
Val, what a delight to see you at the show, and I am sorry that I was on the way out the door mode when we finally had a quick moment to chat.
We had to organize all our purchases and make sure everyone was paid up. A daunting task when you are trying to remember where everyone's booth is located from memory.
It was such fun because of all the people we got to visit with.

We found the traffic to be very busy at the show on Friday, it was pleasing to see so many families enjoying the various vendor's goods. I don't recall seeing it as busy as this on the Fridays of the other two times we have been. Very encouraging!
