These slender quartz crystals have a covering of brown/ginger crystals which I think are siderite. Do you agree? If not have you another suggestion? Sorry the focus isn't better.

Is there a possibility the crystals could be adularia? Just a guess.

I do not think Susan, due the kind of deposit that Trepça is. As far as I know is a kind of polymetallic deposit, without feldspars.

To Susan and Jordi,
No feldspar at Trepca. It bis a Pb/Zn mine yielding galena, sphalerite and also pyrite, arsenopyrite, boulangerite, calcite, dolomite, rhodochrosite, siderite and quartz. If you want more information google "Trepca Ore Belt and Stan Terg Mine - Geological overview and interpretation, Kosovo (SE Europe)" Peter

Volkmar,
It is important to distinguish between the correct spelling of a place name (Stari Trg) and the spelling used by authors of a scientific paper (Stan Terg). Peter

OK Peter. Although Mindat accept the name Stari Trg, they recommend as main name "Trepča Stan Terg Mine" ( https://www.mindat.org/loc-3052.html ) so I re-started that name in the Peter's text.

Sorry for the mix-up
