Here's some ... Bayldonite, Caledonite, Linarite, Malachite, Plumbogummite, Pyromorphite, Rosasite and Apatite. I was surprised how many green and blue Caldbeck samples Ive got, and theres quite a few more Ill add when I get the chance, some are really just locality specimens but theres some good ones lurking in there too.

Hi Nurbo. I really like this combination. plumbogummite.jpg. It is stunning. I never knew that the UK had such nice mineral specimens.

Hi Pierre,
Unfortunately the really nice UK pieces are hard to come by,and whenever I see them I realise that unfortunately I'd need to sell my house to own one.

The Scorodite is greener in the flesh than the photo suggests.

Excellent selection of specimens, nurbo. Thank you for sharing them. I had forgotten about the apatites (have you seen one with good terminations?) and had not seen scorodite from there before.

Hi Ru,
Ive seen tiny Apatites with pinacoidal terminations but only to a few mm Ive got one somewhere, Ill try and find it and see if I can get a reasonable photo.

Nice Philipsburgite by the way, I think i nearly bought that piece once.

Thanks nurbo. Here's a little Carrock apatite. Careful preparation should reveal a few more.

Don't have too much from Caldbeck Fells myself, but here's one from the famous (or infamous, depending on your perspective) trench dug by Richard Barstow in 1978.

Lovely one, Jesse. I like the variety of pyromorphite crystal forms in the area, from sharp stubby hexagonal prisms to elongate needle-like forms.

Another linarite. Does anyone have a large free-standing linarite crystal to show? I bought one once for a couple of pounds in a small shop in Leeds.
