Not that well known for its minerals, but lets see what we receive - calcite and goethite

Calcite, Pyrite Hampstead Farm Quarry, Chipping Sodbury, Gloucestershire, England, UK Overall height is 45mm It shows separate calcite growth phases very clearly, the earlier phase being coated with a later phase of pyrite.

Another Hamstead Farm Quarry calcite, this one with crystals to 20mm coated with pyrite, and with a second generation of calcite crystals partially overgrowing them. Specimen collected in 1986.
