I will load many many many more photos when I get home. Jim and I are packed and ready to head out. It has been a marvelous time, we saw all our dear friends and we were delighted to win the Desautels award for best case in competition at the show, so we are floating on air!
Tucson isn't just about rocks and minerals, gemstones and fossils, it is about the People. So many characters with fun stories, so many well traveled people with fascinating lives. And I saw a side of kindness like no other when people reached out to me after having a double mastectomy just a few weeks before. Thank you all, will write more once home. Jim and I send you all our best.....and the fun continues!

Congratulations on winning the Desautels award! I am sorry to hear about your operation. All the best and we wish you a speedy recovery. Thanks for all the pictures.
