056 & 055
Calcite, Malachite & Cuprite from the Congo
054
Pink Calcite from the Congo
046
I think this is Descloizite from Berg Aukus as they look like spear shaped crystals ??
043
Orange Rver Quartz
084
Tourmaline in Quartz from Namibia probably Neu Schwaben
061
Stichtite
082
Could be Dioptase but Torbenite is probable, need better pictures.

Thank you so much for your help. I'll try to take some higher quality pictures, I am however currently limited since I do not have a macro lense that I can use on my new camera, that should improve in a few days.
Would it help If I added links to the original large (2-10mb) images?
I am still in the process of identifying hundreds of other specimens, and would like to post many of them here for verification, or at least a second opinion if you do not mind.
Debbie the crystals on #46 are indeed spear shaped, difficult to see in the photo i've attached, as soon as I've found a Macro lense i'll take some pictures that clearly show the crystals.

It is fine for us to try to help you but please try to discriminate a little bit before to publish all of them here.
"Hundreds of other specimens" maybe could be somewhat overwhelming. Thank you!

Not to worry, I'll keep the ones I post here to a minimum, and will only post the ones that I really can not identify without some help
Just on a side note I also have a few members of the mineral association of south africa helping me to identify the minerals, but off-course even they have come accross some specimens that they are uncertain of or that they have never before encountered
It will be mostly these that I will post here, as well as a few that I may feel needs a little more certainty.

Here is a closer picture of the crystals in Specimen 82, I'm pretty certain that this is not Dioptase, it appears more likely that it could be Torebenite, but I have been wrong before.

Thanks Paul.
Your last image shows clearly a Torbernite (or Metatorbernite, not big difference)
For sure too it is from Congo. The only doubt is if it is form Musonoi, Shinkolobwe, or Mashamba West. I would vote for Musonoi.

Definately sounds like Descloizite, which is heavy material compared to Gaudefroyite.
Why not take the pictures outside with your great sunlight ? grass background, perfect :0)

Thanks Again Debbie.
Here is a closer view of Specimen 46. It could very well be Descloizite, it is 42mm x 22mm and is very heavy for it's size.

I'll take some nice outdoors photos, as soon as I can, we are having a bit of overcast weather at the moment :)

Overcast weather is good too :0)
You could also put some of your inquiries over on Mindat, spread them out a bit.

No 63 could be gypsum, which certainly should scratch with a fingernail. Which part scratches with a fingernail, the grey or the white?

The black/grey part easily scratches by a fingernail, or to be more accurate, small crystals snap of whith a fingernail, the black parts look like "stars" with numerous small crystals growing out from a central core.
