Hi, Ru. Have you figured out anything else? Please, look at this picture. I have obtained something similar combining two different hexoctahedra: {9 2 15} (blue) and {1 2 3} (green). Of course it is only an arbitrary approach. Therefore the green faces might be another hexoctahedron...
What do you think?

This Spanish fluorite shows an obvious tetrakis-hexahedral (tetrahexahedral) facies.
