They have that truly amazing softness that if lacking in almost all minerals photos.
Beyond the quality and elegance of the specimens you are posting, it is a pure delight for the eyes.

Thanks Vic and Gérard. Glad you like the specimens and photographs.

I use a Nikon DSLR with a special perspective control lens. The lens allows you to manipulate the plane of focus to get more of the subject in focus without the need to do stacking. This works most of the time, but I have used stacking for some photographs.
