Some photos.
Some examples. Titanite are very common, Anatase are common with rutile and I have also found brookite. No photo because to hard for breakable crystals. I have left them.

Oooooh... it must be ten years since I was around there, it brings back memories...
Great scenic photographs Fred, and looks like you found some nice quartz and calcite crystals - are they from Aiguille de Talefre or Glacier de Talefre, if you don't mind me asking?
When I was there in 1991 I set off from the Courvercle Hut to climb Aiguille de Talefre, but had to turn back because rocks started to fall down towards me as I was approaching the last snowfield before the rock-climbing commenced :-(
If you have photo's of climbing to the top of Aiguille de Talefre I would really like to see them!

No climbing - just under this summit. For climbing I'm alone ;). If you come to France come with me ;). Problem is ever falling rocks....
