PostPosted: Sep 18, 2015 02:43    Post subject: Re: Uis, Namibia

The main purpose of my trip to Namibia was to visit Heimo and Sabine. My stay of a few days with them was a very pleasant one and I especially enjoyed Sabine's food. Heimo makes a strong cup of coffee:-)
I love Uis and our visit to Uis and Tafelkop area was the highlight of my visit. The road to Tafelkop is extremely bad at the moment. Here are a few photos from my side.

hi,
I enjoyed your crossing of Namibia. Can I show your photo of Welwitschia to an amateur forum of succulent plants?
Thank you.
Roger.

Thank you Heimo and Pierre for showing your wonderful photographs of Namibia :-)
The amethyst crystals look good - did you do much collecting on this trip?
Best regards, Mike

Pleasure and thanks Mike. Unfortunately time was too limited to do any collecting.

A pleasure Joan. It was good to have Pierre along, since he is very knowledgeable on the Brandberg/Uis area.
