Long long time that I have not given a sign of life on this forum, even if I continue to follow it when I get the time!
And by the way, I have not found any post about SMAM show?
Some friends of this forum will be present?
Who is ready for an "apperitif mineralogy" and a meeting for exchange??
By the way, I think I will not be available the weekend,

As usual, the Shows start earlier and earlier and Ste. Marie is not an exception. Although many people had not arrived yet, the general atmosphere yesterday was quite busy.

Well, with the arrival of the sun yesterday the Show was full of activity and the desired new finds appeared. For the moment Morocco stands (as you could imagine ;-) but also Vietnam, Peru…
At the end of the Show I will inform with pictures about these new finds that I saw in Ste. Marie.

Yesterday was an extremely hot day and at the same time it was an extraordinarily active day. All exhibitors already had their stands open and, as every year, which was largely dominant was Morocco by the variety, either by the prices and the qualities of the material they bring. And as a tip, two new discoveries very "sexy" from this country that we will outline at the end of the Show.
Yesterday was a great day for everybody, a real "hot" day ;-)

What is wrong with the women her right side, she is missing a leg, a arm, and so much more ! (Jordi's photo of the stairs in front of the theatre - Hot day.jpg). That woman really looks like a real ghost !

I like the wine/similar coloured mineral displays; thanks for the pictures for those of us who aren't there and have never been to Sainte-Marie
