Smithsonite from Moulds Top, Arkengarthdale. Specimen approx. 5cm across.

 Description:
Note: this specimen is from Moulds Top mine and not the 'old' horse level. Moulds Top consisted of at least four deep whim shafts and pre-dated the driving of the horse level.

Glassy fluorite cluster with crystals to 3cm on edge from Wet Grooves. I like the way the sulphide inclusions are aligned just below the surface...as if they had floated there !
