Hi Pierre ,
Unfortunately for my building business, the economy in our town is bad and I don't see it getting any better. The taxes are way too high and school enrollment is way down as well as property values. We originally bought 42 acres with a house about nine years ago. We subdivided it into seven lots and built a spec house six years ago and can't sell it. Last year we sold the old house to reduce our payments. Paid over 40 k in taxes for five years, couldn't do it any more. I guess on the plus side, if everything sold I would have lost all the fun digging for the last few years.
If I hit the lottery I'd buy the hundred acres next door, the digging is even better. Lol |
Hi Glen. In some cases it is the lack of money that is the 'root of evil'. Is it not possible to open this site to rock hounds for a daily 'dig' fee? Best regards with your endeavors. _________________ Pierre Joubert
