Hi all,
these days i had the opportunity to take some photographs of specimens of a collectors friend, Michael Ochel, who owns an (IMHO) excellent collection of Rheinisches Schiefergebirge (Germany) minerals. I also started to post some at mindat but i thought that you might like to see some of the stuff here at the forum also,
please enjoy,
cheers
Roger
P.S. i hope more to come - also from my collection in the other thread.

I agree. While I enjoy seeing all of the collections, as a locality collector, I am always most captivated by specialty collectors, whether they have chosen a locality, species or even single crystals. These German specimens are really enjoyable to view. One of these days soon, we will start posting some of our Arizona collection. It just takes time.

All of these pieces are lovely, but they especially have a great three-dimensional quality to them -- meaning they are full of texture which is quite attractive!
Thanks for showing them!
Jim
