I believe your specimen is pyrite and Calcite as most of those similar examples were calcite. You might try a bit of vinegar to either etch out the remaining calcite or see if it fizzes. Bob

I use this opportunity to remind everyone that phrases in capital letters on the Internet mean: I am screaming.
I'm always changing the capital letters to lowercase letters of the phrases of some FMFers, but it is tiring to always do it.
