Hello, JF.

I really appreciate your compliments, coming from a sulfosalts collector.

The mineralogical club of Siena organizes an annual fair in Colle Val d'Elsa (April), and the club of Florence holds it in Scandicci (October). Both have been canceled this year. But it would be possible to find good samples of rouxelite and other rare Tuscan sulfosalts there next year (Covid-19 permitting). Contact me if you are interested. Greetings.

Here two more Tuscan specimens of quite common species.

Best regards.
Sante

How can you distinguish between Rouxelite and Robinsonite?
Kind regards
Marhias.

PS: great specimen.

In fact, these specimens have been analyzed one by Dr. Magnanelli (an authority for Tuscan sulfosalts) who found them and from whom I purchased them.
A visual ID is useless and the basic tests are almost impossible to achieve.

Best regards.

You wan't believe it, but I was in doubt as to whether to publish them because they didn't seem particularly interesting to me. After your comment I looked at them with new eyes...
Thanks again.
