Found outside of Waynesville North Carolina, about an hour from Franklin. Definitely curious as to what it is. Thanks in advance for everyone’s help

If you do a few tests we might be able to help - hardness should be the first test as that will help rule out the very hard minerals (I suspect it will rule out your guess).
