Agreed, this is fantastic for a lot of reasons. I have seen a bit from this locality, but that red hue is great. Congrats indeed.

Thanks Richard! The lighting for this piece influences and amplifies the color of the rhodochrosite.

I agree with Richard, this specimen is fantastic for a lot of reasons. The famous locality, the very good condition and perfect colour, also the size and perfection of the crystals, not to forget the overall aesthetics and the contrast between the rhodo crystals and the different colours of the matrix.
I have seen many pieces from Grube Wolf and as a person with a bit of knowledge concerning German minerals I can congratulate you on a top piece, Mike! If you look into the Lapis Extra No. 56 "Rhodochrosite" or into the exceptional Siegerland & Westerwald Book* (maybe only famous in Germany but one of the greatest mineral & mining books of all times about German minerals!) you will see the best rhodochrosites ever mined at Wolf Mine. And this piece could easily be pictured among them!
I found the piece on Mindat and the photo from a previous owner demonstrates again the brutal quality of this piece: https://www.mindat.org/photo-183777.html
An outstanding piece of German mineralogy - mined more than 60 years ago.
Awesome!
