A really nice specimen, Michael. Nice colour, good contrast and such a beautiful tiny landscape of flawless pyromorphite crystals.
And it reminds me of classic pyromorphites from Germany or England.

Nice! Dreislar specimens of "just" baryte with chalcopyrite are really common, at least here on the German market. But there are not that many good pieces with strontianite, congratulations on a really good German classic!

Thank you, Tobi. Yes, it's not hard to find Dreislar mine specimens of chalcopyrite on baryte even here in the US, but this is the first piece I have seen with a combination of the baryte and strontianite. I was very pleased to find it.

Sky blue chrysocolla pseudomorphing malachite which had previously replaced bladed crystals of azurite or barite. Green malachite is scattered about and the entire specimen is coated with a druse of sparkling micro quartz crystals.

Thank you, Tobi. I acquired this piece from a U.S. dealer, but minerals often seem to have a way of passing through several dealer's hands before they make their way to a private collection, so maybe it was once in the stock of the German dealer. In any case, I was pleased to find it as I'm trying to expand my mineral suite from Germany.
