Hello Jordi,
Do we know about the color centers? We are in the REE region.
Do these pretty hues tire in the light?
Thank you.

To my knowledge, I'm uncertain whether the color centers in Rubaya Tourmalines are due to rare earth elements (REE). However, it is true that the vast majority of Tourmalines from that region exhibit two, three, or more different colors (see in #MVM) :
https://www.fabreminerals.com/search_results.php?LANG=EN&SearchTerms=Rubaya&submit=Search&MineralSpecimen=&pais=&PriceRange=&Currency=USD%28%24%29&SizeRange=

Regarding whether the colors of these Elbaites may fade after prolonged exposure to any type of light, to my knowledge, this does not happen. However, since these specimens appeared on the market around 2020, more time will need to pass before this can be confirmed with complete certainty.

#MVM (Minerals - Virtual Museum) - more information about the piece with this link

Sphalerite with Quartz - Taolin Mine_Hunan Province_China.jpg
 Mineral: Sphalerite on Quartz
 Locality:
Taolin Mine, Linxiang, Yueyang Prefecture, Hunan Province, China
Dimensions: main crystal size: 1 × 1 cm

Some sphalerites from China closely resemble the Spanish ones from Áliva, and although it is often said that their transparency and luster are inferior, some pieces have a quality comparable to or even superior to the Spanish ones. This is the case with this piece, which also stands out for its contrast with the white Quartz matrix.
The specimen has been published in the book 'China', by Berthold Ottens, on page 362
