Thanks Jordi, it was an interesting thread. My specimen has significantly more silver coating on the pyrite than the one you had analyzed, I will try to get an analysis on my piece in the coming weeks.

One of my new specimen additions from the recent 2025 Tucson show.

Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, China
 Dimensions: 11x9x5 cms
 Description:
A new find for me, granular mass of Corundum variety Ruby with vugs containing sharp, tabular crystals There are patches of golden phlogopite mica throughout the specimen. Unfortunately I have not been able to attribute it to a specific mine, if any one has suggestions I would be most appreciative. Highly fluorescent under 365nm LW.
