Thanks Jordi, it was an interesting thread. My specimen has significantly more silver coating on the pyrite than the one you had analyzed, I will try to get an analysis on my piece in the coming weeks.

Just wanted to update the information on this specimen. Through analysis, the coating on the pyrite crystals has been identified as molybdenite and not "bravoite". I have asked Jordi to update the original post to reflect the new information.

| A new find for me, granular mass of Corundum variety Ruby with vugs containing sharp, tabular crystals There are patches of golden phlogopite mica throughout the specimen. Unfortunately I have not been able to attribute it to a specific mine, if any one has suggestions I would be most appreciative. Highly fluorescent under 365nm LW. |
