Since I started reading The Forum, it seems that I notice geometric shapes everywhere. I saw this pair recently. I was thinking were they dodecahedral, pyritohedral? They had a slightly metallic luster and partial coating with a rust-colored material, perhaps iron oxide. They were very symmetrical. They each had one brown face. However one of them had a "C- face" and the other an "H-face." They were flattened on the bottom.They were on private property so I left them there. ;-)

I think Apple should put a short wave ultra violet light on the next version of the iphone.
That would come in handy.

Vitomorim and Volkmar, why not add a Raman Spectrophotometer and water tester to the iphone also?

...There are already apps for measuring radiation with an I-phone.
