Groups on matrix of sharp rhombohedral crystals of Rhodochrosite. Transparent, with great luster and an intense pink color.

 Dimensions: 2.5 × 1.9 × 1.2 cm
 Description:
Group of scalenohedral crystals with intense deep red color that has made the Kuruman Rhodochrosite famous. They are on a Manganite matrix.
The sample is from the well-known find of 1978

 Description:
Fanlike growth of flat, parallel crystals on a small matrix with Pyrite. The Valentinite crystals have a considerable size for the species and are translucent, with a silky luster on the prism faces and a more vitreous luster on the terminations.
The sample comes from Alfredo Petrov.

Fine miniature with elongated crystals, featuring sharp and very well-defined faces and edges, with excellent terminations. Very bright; some of the crystals are absolutely transparent and display a great color, deep and uniform.

 Description:
Group of three prismatic crystals, two of them doubly terminated. Definition of faces and edges is excellent as is the luster, but we specially note its color, very intense, red with mauve shades and especially deep on the terminations.

N'Chwaning I Mine, N'Chwaning mining area, Kuruman, Kalahari manganese field (KMF), Northern Cape Province, South Africa
 Dimensions: main crystal size: 0.7 × 0.5 cm
 Description:
Very aerial aggregate of laminar Shigaite crystals. They are bright and transparent, with a color between yellow and orange, and have a considerable size for the species. The Shigaite, on matrix, is implated on a botryoidal Rhodochrosite aggregate and it is with crystalline Siderite.
The specimen has been photographed and published in the magazine ‘Paragénesis' number 01/2016, page 80
